Boil a large pot of water. Once boiling, add salt. Add mussels and clams, cook shells until they open, about 5 minutes. Reserve broth
Bring another pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta according to packet directions, but reduce the cooking time by 1 minute (because the pasta will finish cooking in the sauce)
While the pasta cooks, heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Add garlic and onion. Cook for 2 minutes until onion is translucent.
Add tomatoes, cook until soft then add tomato paste. Stir until combined, cover and cook for another minute. Add in the seafood broth or pasta water, stir to combined.
Add mussels and clams to the pan, cover and steam shells with the sauce for about a minute then add shrimps and mix gently. Cover and cook shrimps until color turns pink.
Seasoned with salt, black pepper and Italian seasoning, add chili flakes if you want extra kick but totally optional.
Turn off heat and add pasta to the seafood, stir gently then add grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
Serve and Enjoy!
