I am a huge lover of Asian cuisine and flavors and this recipe is one of my favorite it is tender and juicy pork ribs that is sweet, spicy and savory Korean-style sauce and cooked to perfection.
This Korean style pork ribs is delicious and addictive perfect recipe to spice up your dinner. There are many ways to enjoy pork ribs in a Korean way and this is simply one of the best and the easiest.

The flavour is based around gochujang, the Korean hot red pepper paste, which can give fire and sweetness and a deep red colour to anything you add it to which makes the ribs incredibly tasty!
Who says you need a grill to cook a good ribs? ribs are versatile and delicious.I did some research and here’s what i found:
Ways to cook ribs
- Roast – If you want to capture some of that smoky flavor but can’t quite commit to the half-day spa treatment for your ribs, let your oven do the initial work, wrapping the ribs in foil and cooking them low and slow until they’re tender.
- Stove top – For super-tender ribs with extra crispy bits, you can braise them slowly in a pot until they are tender with the seasonings ensures that the meat remains moist and juicy and that the flavors fully penetrate the meat.
- Pressure cooking – It’s a super-fast method which are easy and ideal for instant pot. Just simply rub your ribs with the seasoning and you’ll build your sauce right in the pressure cooker. Then secure the lid and cook on high pressure for 30 minutes.
- Grill all the way – spice rub hours several hours before grilling to ensure they emerge from the grill with a great crust, rub them in advance with spices. Then, you have to cook them low and slow on the grill for ribs with incomparably smoky flavor.

Korean Style Pork Ribs

Prepare a pot with boiling water, season with salt. Then, add ribs and let it simmer for 35-45 minutes. When it is done, remove ribs from the pot and place it on a plate. Set aside

Heat oil in a wok. Saute onion and garlic until fragrant. Add in ribs, stir fry for a minute then add water. Let it simmer

In a bowl, combine gochujang paste, gochugaru, sesame oil, honey and water. Stir until completely combined.

While simmering, add in soy sauce, oyster sauce then add in the sauce mixture. Stir until completely mix together. Continue cooking until the sauce reduce and the ribs is tender. Stir occasionally
