In a bowl, drizzle shrimp with olive oil and seasoned with salt, black pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Toss to combine and set aside.
In a medium-sized pan, boil water and salt it. Add your pasta, and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
Meanwhile, when the pasta is almost done. Melt the butter in a pan and then add the olive oil.
When it starts to shimmer, add the shrimp in one layer. Cook 2 minutes, then turn them over and continue cooking until they turn pink and opaque, about 1 more minute.
When it's done remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Using the same pan, melt the butter. Saute onion, garlic and chili flakes.
Gradually add-in the cooked spaghetti noodles. Toss until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Add pasta water and seasoned with salt and pepper. Returned the shrimp back to the pan, add chopped parsley and parmesan cheese. Toss again until all are well distributed.
