In a mixing bowl with chicken pieces, season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic pepper powder, onion flakes and drizzle with olive oil. Mix to combine. Cover and marinate at least an hour to over night.
After marinating, thread the chicken pieces onto skewers, make sure they are tightly packed with no space in between to insure maximum juiciness. If using wooden skewers, make sure they have soaked in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning.
Add the skewers to the air fryer, make sure to have enough space. Set air fryer to 180C for 15 minutes. Check the air fryer after 10 minutes or until the chicken turns light brown and rotate the skewers and cook the other side for a few minutes.
In a pan, melt butter. Add chopped garlic, chili flakes, black pepper, grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Mix and saute until completely mix, squeeze out half lemon and mix. Reserve sauce for basting
Remove the chicken from the air fryer and brush with garlic butter sauce.
