Sticky and Easy Honey Garlic Chicken made fast and simple, with the most amazing honey garlic sauce that is so good you’ll want to use it on everything!
In a bowl, Combine soy sauce, vinegar, chopped garlic, paprika, salt and egg white. whisk to combine.
Add the chicken drumstick lollipop. Make sure to coat all the chicken with the sauce. Cover and marinate at least 30 minutes to 3 hrs. for better flavor.
Combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, paprika, salt and black pepper then add milk and vinegar. mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Using a deep sauce pan, add enough oil to deep fry the chicken. Place over medium high heat.
Dip each marinated drumstick one at a time to the batter mixture.
Carefully drop the chicken, one at a time and make sure not to over crowd the pan.
fry chicken until golden brown. Remove and drain in a paper towel.
In a medium high heat, melt butter in a pan.
add in minced garlic saute until fragrant, then add chili flakes, honey and soy sauce.
Keep stirring until the sauce starts to thicken, add chicken. toss to coat the sauce.
Serve and enjoy!
Left overs can be stored in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
For a healthier version, you can use air fryer or you can bake the chicken.
